Good afternoon! I hope you all had a great weekend!!

The weather here was amazing and we enjoyed a lot of time outdoors and on the beach. 

// Todd and I had our weekly date night this past Thursday and we switched things up a little and actually left the island. We had heard wonderful things about a restaurant in Mt. Pleasant called Local’s, so we decided to give it a try. And let me tell you, it did it not disappoint! The tacos, the wantons, and the sushi were all so fresh and tasted amazing! And I just found out that by the end of the summer there will be a Local’s opening up on Daniel Island!!!

// On Friday, Taylor had her pom/dance camp recital, so we all went to watch her. Let me just just say, Taylor is a mess when it comes to performing and she always provides lots of entertainment…ha! 

Later Friday evening, we took the golf cart and met some of our neighbors for Mexican and margaritas.

// After breakfast on Saturday we hit the pool and I was excited to rock my new one-piece. A lot of you ladies have been asking for good one-piece recommendations and this is definitely a good one!

// On Sunday, we had plans to meet some friends on the beach for a full beach day and an early dinner. I can’t tell you how amazing it felt on the beach…I’m pretty sure we could have all stayed until the sun went down. There was a cool breeze and it was the perfect mix of sun and clouds, so no one ever got too hot. And the spot where we went wasn’t crowded at all and it had the perfect tidal pool for the kids.

Tay loved hanging with “baby Hudson” as she likes to call him. 

And these crazy boys said they were taking all their belongings across the sea…haha! Gotta love a good tidal pool.
