Why hello Monday! Goodness you just seem to creep up faster and faster every time.
I love these two bugs so very much! But lately they have been giving this mommy a run for her money.
For instance we finally have Tay sleeping through the night.(can y’all see me fist pumping with joy). No doubt I would be, but now Carson wakes up every.single.night. (bad dreams, or hes scared he might have bad dreams, or he has to tell us something). It’s killing me!! Any suggestions moms?
Todd and I did a bunch of nothing but tv watching this past weekend. Saturday night we started the series Homeland. You can easily say we are obsessed. Then on Sunday we choose our date night to be at the movies. Pretty much my favorite date nights, I love a movie with my man. For the record the movie was amazing!
I gave in and ate the popcorn, just kidding I dominated that shit!
But on a good note I am down 6lbs and a couple inches thinner 😉
Just ordered these running shoes! Any Saucony fans around? Heard they were good?
While were on the fitness topic, many of you have asked how I loose/lost my weight. Do you still want to know? Because I am pretty much starting over from last year. You know getting knocked up not exercising for a year and chowing down on double stack reese’s did me in. So I am doing it again, and for the record it’s not a miracle plan, it’s hard ass work and a clean diet. But just wanted to see if you were still interested, cause maybe we can make a weekly post out of it?
Happy Monday all you well rested assholes beauties!!!

I'm a dork and can't figure out how to follow your blog, but I read it every morning after I put my son down for his nap. I would love to hear about your weight loss plan/ideas/goals. My son is 11 months and I STILL have 20 lbs to lose. ughhhh, so annoying. So it would be great to get some motivation by hearing what you're doing.

  8. Yeeeeesssss on the workout front! It's SO hard to stay motivated day in and day out, but it does make it easier/more tolerable/less painful to see (even in blogland) someone doing it too.

  9. Emily says:

Congrats on losing the 6 lbs! Would love for you to post more about eating clean and working out! Love your blog!

  10. I've lost my motiviation since I did the Color Run in November. I have no goals yet. Congrats on your weight loss!

  11. Elizabeth says:

would love to hear your weight loss plan!

  12. Sorry about the sleep. Is Carson 4 yet? My daughter was a great sleeper until she turned 4, and then the bad dreams/not wanting to be alone started. I think we struck a deal where we would lie in her bed with her for 5 minutes while she was trying to fall asleep. Sometimes it went well, sometimes not. The upside is that now she's 7, and sleeps great.

  13. Ashley says:

I'm pregnant with twins and am on bed rest at the moment. Sooooo not looking forward to having to bust my you know what to get the baby weight off after these little ones are born! So I'd love to see how you are doing it!

  14. Beesmama says:

YES please!!! I have been a MAJOR slacker lately. I have a 7 month old who is NOT sleeping through the night…not even close, actually! I am so tired that all I want to do is nap when I can…NOT exercise. PS-I also have a 3.5 year old boy, so my down time is pretty nonexistant:(

  15. Dina says:

Yes I'd love to know! I have baby weight to lose from my new lil one! And the hubs and I just started Homeland this past weekend too, um yes obsessed already! If you like that, try Jericho, we just finished it and loved it. Downton Abbey is a must of course too!

  16. Brandi says:

Girl, I lost 30 lbs after my last baby. Got lazy and gained it all back…oink!!! Back on the wagon…dangit!!!!

  17. DKPA says:

The bad dreams seem to be an age thing. One of my twins had them for a while. It was hard for us over here. We did get through it by the a special potion.

We made a special potion (water with glitter) and put it into a spray bottle. Told him we had to look up the special recipe on the Mommy and Daddy only website.

At bedtime, Daddy would go in before us and say:

    Bad Dreams
    Bad Dreams go away
    Good Dreams
    Good Dreams come to stay.
Repeat three times.(our son said it had to be three, that is the only way it works)

Then spray the bad dreams potion. Also works for monsters and other scary things.

It worked like a charm. He still has his bad dream potion bottle under his bed just in case. He is seven.

Good luck with the bad dreams.

Congrats on the weight loss! Please share tips. The twins are seven and I am still trying.

  18. Kimberly says:

When my boys had bad dreams praying with them before bed and placing a bible under their pillow always seemed to help.

  19. Anonymous says:

6 pounds is major for us short girls! 🙂 Would love to hear how you're making progress!!

  20. Unknown says:

You poor thing with the waking up at night. We have gone through that with Riley. Especially growing pains and it kicks my boo-tay. No advice here. I wish. And Homeland . . . best series on the planet. We just watched all of season one over break and we are now onto season two. AMAZING.

  21. Debbie says:

Have been reading your blog for awhile and have enjoyed it. But when you say you were " knocked up " it offends me. So many yearn for a precious child and would gladly give up sleep to a scared child! Also don't appreciate being called an asshole! Maybe you should look around and be thankful for what God has given You!

  22. caycee says:

    Dear Debbie,

Didn't mean to offend you by saying I was knocked up…..it's just a term I have always used on a playful level. On the sleep thing I of course know there are people that yearn for a child, but that has nothing to do with be complaining about not getting sleep!! (I was honestly was just looking for advice) because dont we all need/want sleep in order to be good mothers?? Again total joke with the asshole /beauties. I feel as maybe you don't get my personality and maybe my blog isn't for you? Last I am very very thankful for what God has blessed me with and I thank him everyday!

God bless you and your family Debbie!

  23. elisabeth says:

Our 13 month old still wakes up at least once, if not twice, a night. I'm looking forward to seeing what tips the fellow Mamas have. In the meantime, bring on the concealer!

  24. Kristal says:

You have such a beautiful family! Newest follower! I loved the movie too, and I love date night! Oh and let me know how you like those shoes! I need new running shoes and I usually go with asics!
